Pain management

Pain management is a branch of medicine that treatsall types of pain, including musculoskeletal, spine and neuropathic pain disorders. It is an area of concentration that primary care physicians, orthopedists, neurologists and other healthcare providers are increasingly relying on for their patients. Pain management programs are made according to a patient’s medical history, condition, and any other treatments he or she has received or is currently receiving. A typical pain management team includes medical practitioners, pharmacists, clinical psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and clinical nurse specialists.
