On your first visit, an Osteopathic physician will ask for a complete medical history and about current health conditions. Standard tests may be required to diagnose the illness or injury such as blood and urine tests, or imaging studies (e.g. X-ray, bone scan, CT scan, MRI, etc.). In addition, Osteopathic structural and functional examinations may be performed to determine the problem and treatment options. Based on the tests and diagnosis, you will receive a customized treatment plan.
